Analyst - Telecom
This position is open to individuals with 3-5 years of prior telecom experience either with a telecom provider or with an auditing firm.
Some of the primary job responsibilities include:
- Contacting telecom suppliers to obtain client data and rate information
- Identifying billing and rate errors in client bills, filing refund requests with client telecom providers, quantifying potential refunds, and following up with telecom providers to insure correct resolution
- Identifying alternative cost-saving rate plans and vendors, analyzing plan and vendor alternatives to quantify savings, and following up with telecom providers to insure correct implementation
- Preparing reports of refunds and savings for clients and assisting the account management team in explaining results to clients
- Creating invoices to clients for fees earned
We look for people that have the right attitude and a willingness to learn the technical aspects of the position. The right person should have the following qualities:
- High energy levels and strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in the written form, with all levels from clerical staff to upper management
- Good organization skills and firm ability to manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time
- Basic keyboard and computer skills combined with intermediate knowledge of MS-Office (Excel and Word)
- Detail-orientated and accurate, but still able to understand the big picture
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
We prefer a minimum of two years higher education, but a degree is not required. Prior telecom knowledge is desired.
